Samsung’s Galaxy F-series is a big thing in markets like India. However, not everything in this series is entirely new, much like the latest Galaxy F34.
The Samsung Galaxy F34 is simply a rebranded Galaxy M34 that’s already in the market since July. So if you’ve already heard of that device, you’d know that this one will also be powered by the brand’s own Exynos 1280 processor — a 5nm chipset that’s clocked at 2.4Ghx and uses a Mali-G68 GPU.
Like its cousins, it will get a large 6,000mAh non-removable battery paired with 25W charging. Samsung claims that the battery can last for up to 2 days of normal usage.
At the helm of everything is the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 user interface. Samsung promised that it will get 4 major OS upgrades and 5 years of security patches.
On the front, we have a standard-sized 6.5-inch FHD+ display that uses a fancy Super AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. A waterdrop notch holds the 16-megapixel selfie camera. The whole front surface is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5, the same glass used on old flagship phones.
Around the back, the Galaxy F34 5G managed to get a 50-megapixel main camera, complete with optical image stabilization (OIS). It is joined by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel macro lens.
The Samsung Galaxy F34 has a price of INR18,999 (~Php12,900) and INR20,999 (~Php14,300) for the 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB variants, respectively. It will be available starting August 12 in India and is now up for pre-order.
