Samsung is expanding its Galaxy F line with the new Samsung Galaxy F52 5G.
The Samsung Galaxy F52 5G arrives months after the Galaxy F62 came out last February. The 5G connectivity came from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor, partnered with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage that can go up to 1TB via microSD.
On the front, there’s an enormous 6.6-inch FHD+ screen. It’s not an AMOLED panel, but it has a fast 120Hz refresh rate.
Unlike the others, Samsung breaks the norm by having the 16-megapixel selfie camera on the right side instead of the left. We then have the quad cameras on the back, with a shiny but slightly boring-looking panel design.
Since it’s not an AMOLED screen, it settled with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It may not have the best specs and features, but it does run on the latest Android 11-based One UI 3.1 software.
Images show that the Galaxy F52 5G is quite large, and it is. It has a thickness of 8.7mm and weighs 199g. The dimensions and weight are quite questionable since it only has a 4,500mAh battery, unlike the 5,000mAh and 7,000mAh batteries that its siblings are.
The Samsung Galaxy F52 5G has a price of CNY1,999 (around Php14,800) and is now available for pre-order in China. Whether or not it will arrive in markets like the Philippines are yet to be known.
