Samsung’s budget-friendly line-up, the “J” series, has been refreshed for the year 2017. Along with the new Galaxy J5 and J7, the company also quietly announced the new Samsung Galaxy J3 2017 in Europe.
But leading to this, Samsung already announced earlier this year the Galaxy J3 Pro Plus in India. The company also launched the T-Mobile exclusive J3 Prime in the US just a couple of weeks back. And hopefully, this independently named Galaxy J3 2017 would be the international version.
The new 2017 model brings quite a few improvements from its predecessor. For starters, the phone now has an all-new look. It also has better a processor, sharper camera, and will sport the latest Android 7.0 Nougat.

The new Galaxy J3 2017 is expected to be available in Europe beginning August for EUR219 (around Php12,800). Official pricing and availability in the Philippines are yet to be announced. We’ll update this post in case we get information.
