Samsung’s midrange line is spending more time with MediaTek processor instead of their own Exynos chips to survive the saturated market. Their latest one, the Samsung Galaxy M32 5G, is powered by the trusty MediaTek Dimensity 720 processor.
But unlike the vanilla M32 that came out back in June, Samsung Galaxy M32 5G will have a downgraded 6.5-inch HD+ screen instead of the fast and sharp 90Hz FHD+ panel.
It also has a 5,000mAh battery, which is smaller than the 6,000mAh capacity of the non-5G model. The charging speed was also dropped to 15W from 25W.
There’s a notch on the screen for the 13-megapixel main camera. While on the back, we have a clean design with the quad-camera set up in their own individual glass. It consists of a 48-megapixel main shooter, 8-megapixel ultra-wide, 5-megapixel macro, and 2-megapixel depth sensor.
It then runs on Android 11-based One UI 3.1 with Samsung Knox Security and an Alt Z feature that instantly switches to main and private modes by double pressing a dedicated quick switch button.
The Galaxy M32 5G starts at INR20,999 (around Php14,100) for the 6GB/128GB, while the 8GB/128GB is at INR22,999 (around Php15,400). It will be available in India with a special introductory discount of INR2,000.
If it’s not obvious already, the Galaxy M32 5G is a rebranded version of the Galaxy A32 5G, which is available in the Philippines for Php15,990.
