The full specs and details about the TCL 10 series have been unveiled.
Initially launched back in January, the TCL series comprises of the new TCL 10 Pro, 105G, and 10L. All three have impressive HDR displays and uniquely-placed quad cameras on the back.
Let’s start with the top-of-the-line model, the TCL 10 Pro. Its main highlight is the 6.47-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen that is certified by Netflix so you can enjoy shows and movies that way the creators intended you to.
But for non-Netflix content, there’s a dedicated NXTVISION chip that does an SDR-to-HDR mapping. That’s a feature present in all three models.

On the top of the screen, there’s a waterdrop notch that houses the 24-megapixel selfie camera. While on the back, we have the quad-camera straightly placed in a horizontal orientation.
There are LED flashes on each side that will satisfy people with OCD.

Under the hood, there’s Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor. It’s surprising that TCL didn’t go with a Snapdragon 765G on this thing. Hence, the lack of 5G connectivity.
The TCL 10 Pro has a price of USD450 (~Php22,800).

Speaking of which, the TCL 10 5G gets to have the Snapdragon 765G processor with 5G. It would have made more sense to see this chipset on the more expensive Pro model. Apart from the 5G support, it has a better CPU and GPU performance.
So the question is, why is it cheaper than the TCL 10 Pro? For one, the 16-megapixel ultra-wide camera was downgraded to an 8-megapixel sensor. The dedicated 5-megapixel night camera was also changed to a macro lens.

The TCL 10 5G also has a more basic screen. It uses a 6.53-inch LCD screen, albeit the HDR10 support was kept. But since it’s now an LCD screen, the in-display fingerprint scanner was replaced with a rear-mounted one.
You can get the TCL 10 5G for EUR400 (~Php20,200) .
