TCL introduces a new budget phone, the TCL 505, with an entry-level chip, sharp but low-resolution screen, large battery, sharp camera, and two speakers.
The TCL 505 has the brand’s NxtVision technology, which is a coating that eliminates reflections, and blue light, and ups the screen brightness to 400 nits. That is on the large 6.75-inch IPS display with a high 90Hz refresh rate, but only with an HD+ resolution.

There’s a low-resolution 5-megapixel in a waterdrop notch on top of the display. Around the back, we have a shiny panel that looks like a bright light leaking from the sleek camera island.
Speaking of which, it has a sharp 50-megapixel main camera with a 2-megapixel depth sensor.

Keeping the lights on is a 5,010mAh non-removable battery with only a 10W charger.
Finally, powering the device is a MediaTek Helio G35 processor, a chipset that’s almost 4 years old. It also means it doesn’t have 5G connectivity.

Sadly, the official price of the TCL 505 is yet to be announced, so stay tuned for that.
