TECNO went all the way to Barcelona, Spain to launch the TECNO CAMON 40 Premier at MWC 2025. Rightfully so, as it has one of the most advanced cameras in its category.
All four of the cameras on the TECNO CAMON 40 Premier has a 50-megapixel sensor. The main one is a Sony LYT-701 sensor with a 23mm equivalent with an f/1.9 aperture and optical image stabilization.
We also have a 70mm periscope-style lens with 3x zoom, another one for the ultra-wide lens, and finally, a 24mm selfie camera with phase-detection autofocus. The front-facing shooter sits on top of the 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a smooth 144Hz refresh rate.
Handling all these cameras is the powerful MediaTek Dimensity 8350 octa-core processor, with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
Apart from having the most powerful processor, it also has the fastest charging speed. It comes with a 70W adapter, while the CAMON 40, 40 Pro, and 40 Pro 5G only have 45W. However, its battery is 100mAh smaller at 5,100mAh.
TECNO also highlights its durability features having received IP69/69 dust and water resistance rating and SGS certification for its “Ultra Drop-resistant body.” It also enjoys a slew of TECNO AI features and a dedicated One-Tap FlashSnap button.
