TECNO POVA 4, 4 Pro: Helio G99 CPU, 6000mAh battery, 45W charging

TECNO Mobile has unveiled the next-gen POVA series with the release of the new TECNO Pova 4 and 4 Pro.

Let’s talk about the more interesting one, the TECNO POVA 4 Pro, which features a 6.66-inch AMOLED screen at an FHD+ pixel resolution. As expected, it boasts a high refresh rate at 90Hz.

Under the hood, it is powered by a gaming-centric but non-5G MediaTek Helio G99 octa-core processor. Multitasking is handled by 8GB of RAM while the storage capacity is quite generous at 256GB.

Large storage is quite important since it boasts a sharp 50-megapixel main camera. It is joined by an unknown accomplice, which we suspect to be a depth sensor. On the front, we have an 8-megapixel sensor for selfies.

The back panel has a pretty aggressive design, quite similar to the also-new POVA Neo 5G.

Like its cousins, the POVA 4 Pro boasts an enormous 6,000mAh battery. It’s so large that it comes with a 10W reverse charging so you can use it as a powerbank. It then has a speedy 45W fast charging, its main difference over the vanilla POVA 4, which can provide a 50% charge in only 24 minutes.

The TECNO POVA 4 Pro is available in Bangladesh for an SRP of BDT26,900 (around Php15,700).

Meanwhile, the TECNO POVA 4 shares the same Helio G99 CPU, 6,000mAh battery, 50-megapixel main camera, 8-megapixel front shooter, and 90Hz refresh rate.

Since it’s the cheaper option, the AMOLED screen was dropped to an LCD, HD+ resolution from FHD+, and slower 18W charging. On the upside, the display is a bit larger at 6.82-inches.
