TECNO has a new entry-level smartphone, the Spark 20C, which looks oddly familiar.
The TECNO Spark 20C comes out just a day after the Spark Go 2024, which it shares a lot of similarities with — from the color options to the key specs.

That said, the Spark 20C has a fancy 90Hz refresh rate for the HD+ display with Dynamic Island-like indicators. It even managed to have a stereo speaker setup.
There’s an 8-megapixel selfie camera on top with its own dual-LED flash. The back has a 50-megapixel main shooter and an AI lens.

It ships with the Android 13 Go edition to play well with the underwhelming hardware.
Sadly, the chipset used was not mentioned, but they did say it is an octa-core processor. Does it mean it is also the UNISOC T606 as the Spark Go? There’s a chance it isn’t, since TECNO confirmed that it has a faster 18W charging (vs 10W of the Spark Go) and the aforementioned 50-megapixel camera (vs 13-megapixel), suggesting that it’s not a direct rebrand and may have a more powerful chip than the former.

The TECNO Spark 20C is now listed on the TECNO‘s official website with the price and availability not mentioned.
