TECNO Mobile is really banking on its entry-level Spark Go series that it now has launched a 2024 model.
The TECNO Spark Go 2024 is the successor to the 2023 model that came out in February and appears to be a rebranded Pop 8 that came out in India a few weeks ago.
So, like the Pop 8, it comes with a pretty flamboyant design on the back with shiny colorways and an iPhone-like camera layout for the 13-megapixel main shooter, an AI cam (as what TECNO calls it), and dual-LED flash.
On the front, we have a decent 6.6-inch HD+ LCD display, which managed to get a high 90Hz refresh rate. There’s a punch-hole on top for the 8-megapixel selfie camera with another iPhone-like feature, the Dynamic Port, which is TECNO’s take on the Dynamic Island.
It has a UNISOC T606 octa-core processor for gaming and day-to-day tasks. The chipset comes with a decent 4GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage.
TECNO then included a large 5,000mAh battery with a respectable 10W charger. As a cherry on top, the Spark Go 2024 has to have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and DTS stereo speakers.
The TECNO Spark Go 2024 has an SRP of Php3,899 starting November 25 and is currently discounted to Php3,799 on Shopee, where it is exclusively available.
