The TECNO Spark 9T lands in India with a completely different design and set of specs.
With the TECNO Spark 9T Indian version, you’re getting a MediaTek Helio G35 octa-core processor, versus the Helio G37 chip found on the first model that came out in Nigeria back in June.
The refresh rate was also dropped to 60Hz from 90Hz. But on the upside, it has a sharper FHD+ pixel resolution versus the former’s HD+.
It also has a sharper 50-megapixel main camera (versus 13-megapixels). Although, the front-facing camera is now at 8-megapixels (from 32-megapixels).

The operating system was also downgraded for some reason. Instead of the newer Android 12-based HiOS 8.6, this one now has the last generation’s Android 11-based HiOS 7.6. TECNO also dropped the charging/data port to microUSB instead of USB Type-C, but it still comes with a 5,000mAh battery.
