TECNO Mobile’s latest line of budget-friendly phones just got a cheaper alternative with the Spark 9T.
The TECNO Spark 9T shares a similar design language as the Spark 9 Pro with its two large lenses on the back that gives a distinct look. It may look rich, but it only holds a 13-megapixel main shooter, an obligatory 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an AI lens.
On the front, we have a relatively large 6.6-inch screen, with an FHD+ pixel resolution, but with a standard 60Hz refresh rate. A teardrop notch on top holds an 8-megapixel selfie camera.
Under the hood, it comes with a MediaTek Helio G37 chipset, a budget-friendly yet gaming-centric processor. It is joined by 4GB of RAM and an option between 64GB and 128GB of storage that can be expanded via the microSD card slot.
Like most phones in this range, the Spark 9T managed to have a 5,000mAh battery. It charges via the USB Type-C port, albeit only has a 10W adapter.
Despite its budget price, the Spark 9T does come with an Android 12-based HiOS 8.6 user interface.
The TECNO Spark 9T has a price of NGN88,000 (around Php11,300), that’s for the 4GB/128GB. There’s also a cheaper 64GB variant for NGN78,300 (around Php10,100). It is currently available in Nigeria while release details in markets like the Philippines is yet to be announced.
