Have you heard of Unihertz? Not a lot does, but their bizarre smartphone releases have been catching our attention, like this new one, the Unihertz Tank 3.
From the world’s smallest Android phone, the Unihertz Jelly Star, we now have the Uniherz Tank 3, which is one of the beefiest smartphones in the market right now.
The Tank 3 boasts a whopping 23,800mAh battery — that’s the battery capacity of about four smartphones. Unihertz claims that it has a standby time of 1,800 hours and two days of video playback.
It is paired with an equally impressive 120W fast charging, which can provide a 0-90% charge in about 90 minutes.
Another big-number feature is the cameras on the back. There’s the 200-megapixel main shooter, 50-megapixel ultra-wide, and a 64-megapixel night vision sensor. A 50-megapixel shooter is on the front.
Obviously a rugged phone, the Tank 3 has an IP68 dust and water resistance, and has other extras like a 40m laser range finder, an ultra-bright LED flashlight with 1200 lumens, an infrared sensor, and two customizable side buttons.
Under the hood, we have a decent MediaTek Dimensity 8200 octa-core processor, with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of expandable storage.
It then ships with Android 13, dual-band WiFi 6, and NFC. Oh, and with all that hardware inside, this one weighs 666g — that’s about the weight of three smartphones. It is also 31mm thick, versus the average 8mm that most phones have.
