vivo has introduced a new line of smartphones and it’s starting, oddly, with the vivo G2.
Judging by the specs of the vivo G2, the new series belongs in the midrange segment — cheaper than the V series. It only has a 6.56-inch HD+ display but with a high 90Hz refresh rate.

There’s a low-resolution 5-megapixel selfie camera on top of the screen, while on the back, there’s a 13-megapixel main shooter.
It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 processor with up to 8GB of RAM and large 256GB of expandable storage.

There’s a large 5,000mAh battery with decent 15W charging.
Since it is first coming out of China, it will have the Android 13-based Origin OS 3.

The vivo G2 has a price of CNY1,199 (~Php9,400) for the 4GB/128GB, CNY1,499 (~Php11,700) for the 6GB/128GB, CNY1,599 (~Php12,500) for the 8GB/128GB, and CNY1,899 (~Php14,900) for the 8GB/256GB. No word yet if it will make it out of China.
