The vivo V29 series continues to grow with the addition of the vivo V29 Pro.
While it looks similar to the vivo V29, the vivo V29 Pro has some upgrades to deserve the “Pro” title. For one, it has a proper portrait camera thanks to the 12-megapixel sensor behind a 2x zoom lens
It also has a more powerful MediaTek Dimensity 8200 octa-core processor. It has the same 4,600mAh battery, but for some reason, the charging speed dropped to 66W from 80W.

Everything else looks the same. It still has a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 2800 x 1260 pixel resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 2160Hz PWM dimming, and HDR10+.
The main camera is still a 50-megapixel IMX766 sensor with OIS, joined by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide, and of course, the ring flash for the Aura Light with different color temperatures. The depth sensor is now gone.

It also uses a sharp 50-megapixel selfie camera on the front, with the under-display fingerprint scanner at the bottom of the screen.
The vivo V29 Pro has a price of INR39,999 (~Php27,200) for 8GB/256GB and INR42,999 (~Php28,600) in India—no word yet if it will ever make its way to the Philippines.
