The first ever smartphone with dual front facing cameras gets listed ahead of launch.

Vivo’s newest attempt to take on the selfie crown from OPPO will be fueled by a two camera setup in front to help consumers take better selfies.

The company has teased the Vivo V5 Plus multiple times already, one of them specifically in the launch of the Vivo V5. But it’s not until today that we get all the juicy details about this new device. It features a 5.5-inch 1080p screen with 2.5D curve on the sides and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Under the hood, there’s a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset that’s couple with the combination of Adreno 506 and 4GB of RAM.

Probably the main highlight of the Vivo V5 Plus is its set of 20-megapixel and 8-megapixel rear cameras. And just like other dual camera smartphones like the iPhone 7 Plus, Zenfone 3 Zoom, Huawei Mate 9 and GR5 2017, it’s capable of taking bokeh shots which blurs the background and focuses directly on the subject.
