Vivo V5s Philippines - NoypiGeeks

The new Vivo V5s, which was launched a few weeks go in India, is expected to have an official release here in the Philippines this coming May 19.

The new Vivo V5s will be part of the V5 line, which currently consists of the V5, V5 Lite, and the V5 Plus. And judging by the V5s’s specs sheet, it looks like it will belong in the midrange category. This new device has a better set of features than the V5 Lite, but not as good as what we can find on the V5 Plus.

The Vivo V5s has a 5.5-inch 720p display, a resolution that might be a bit lackluster for its size. It also sports an octa-core MediaTek processor with 4GB of RAM, a large 64GB of storage and a decent 3000mAh battery.

The highlight feature of this thing is the same as with its siblings – the selfie camera. The Vivo V5s has a massive 20-megapixel front-facing camera with an aperture if f/2.0. Although it doesn’t have a dual-camera setup like the OPPO F3 has, the V5s took the edge by having a better camera resolution. There’s also a 13-megapixel PDAF primary camera at the back if you care about that.

Like what I have said earlier, we still don’t have the official price for the Vivo V5s. But if we were to guess, and take into consideration the other V5 devices that are already out in the market, the upcoming V5s will be sold at around Php13k to Php16k. We’re expecting it to go head to head against the F3.

But nonetheless, we still have to wait for Vivo’s official announcement on May 19, which is just several days from now.
