vivo has introduced a new premium midrange phone, the vivo Y100t 5G. We haven’t seen many of the Y100 series in the Philippines, so we may or may not get it under a different name.
The vivo Y100t 5G comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 8200. That’s more powerful than the Snapdragon 695 chip of the Y100 and the Dimensity 6020 of the Y100i. The RAM capacity is at 8GB/12GB while storage is at 256GB/512GB.

While the 6.64-inch FHD+ IPS screen looks generic, it makes up for it by having a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Since it’s a 2024 vivo phone coming out of China, it’s safe to assume it will ship with Android 14-based OriginOS 4.
There’s a 16-megapixel camera on top of the display for self-portraits, while on the back, we have a 64-megapixel shooter with optical image stabilization joined by a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Sadly, no ultra-wide or macro.

One of its best features is the ultra-fast 120W charging for the 5,000mAh battery. As a cherry on top, the Y100t 5G has NFC and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The official price and availability of the vivo Y100t 5G is yet to be announced but it’s confirmed to first arrive in China.
