Vivo has a new addition to its budget Y-series of smartphones with the new Vivo Y50.

The Vivo Y50 features a quad camera on the back that’s led by a 13-megapixel main shooter and 8-megapixel ultra-wide. They are all placed in a rectangular camera bump, just like the Vivo V19 that was launched on the same day (but in a different market).

On the front, we have a large and sharp 6.53-inch FHD+ screen. A punch-hole is seen on the top left, which houses an undisclosed selfie camera.

Under the hood, the Vivo Y50 is powered by the same ol’ Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 octa-core processor, with a generous 8GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage.

There’s also the large 5,000mAh battery that should easily last you for an entire day or two. An 18W fast charger is then tasked to charge it via USB Type-C.

The price and availability of the Vivo Y50, especially here in the Philippines, are yet to be announced, so stay tuned for that. However, the device is now available for pre-order in Cambodia until April 11, 2020. Freebies include a power bank and a gift box.
