Just announced a few weeks back, Vivo Philippines was quick to bring their new entry-level smartphone here in the country. Please welcome the new Vivo Y81.
The Vivo Y81 retains some of the design aesthetics that the company introduced on the Vivo V9. It has a large screen with a display notch on top and trimmed-down side bezels.
The screen itself is a 6.22-inch HD+ IPS panel. While inside we have a 2.0GHz MediaTek Helio P22 octa-core processor. The variant that they will be offering here is the 3GB/32GB one. It is also available in a 4GB/64GB model, but I guess Vivo is reserving that for a future upgrade release.
It will run on Android 8.1 Oreo with FunTouch OS 4.0 — just like some of the new Vivo smartphones that are out today. It also sports a 5-megapixel selfie camera and a 13-megapixel camera on the back. While powering it up is a 3260mAh battery.
