Vivo is giving their fans more options as they announce the Vivo Z3, a new smartphone that comes in two chipset variants.

The Vivo Z3 came from the same molding as with the Vivo V11 and V11i. It has a large 6.3-inch FHD+ screen, with a tiny halo notch on top, and a glass-like back panel that’s also available in trendy gradient colors.

However, Vivo drastically downgraded the selfie camera on the Z3. It only has a 12-megapixel front camera, instead of a 25-megapixel shooter that is found on the V11 series. Thankfully, the 16-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual rear cameras remain relatively the same.

But as stated earlier, the main attraction here is the flexibility on the processor used. The Vivo Z3 with product code V1813BA sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 chipset, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of expandable storage.

On the other hand, the Vivo Z3 V1813DA is equipped with a more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset, 6GB of RAM, and an option between 64GB or 128GB of onboard storage.

And since this is a more affordable alternative to the V11, the in-display fingerprint scanner is swapped with the standard one that’s placed on the back. It also comes with a decent 3,315mAh battery, which is being charged via its micro USB port.
