At long last, Xiaomi’s most imaginative flagship line finally has a successor with the Mix 4.
The Xiaomi Mix 4 came out almost three years since we were introduced to the Mi Mix 3. This device will have new features that we expect to see on smartphones to come.

One of its biggest feats is the 20-megapixel under-display camera for a much cleaner look. It uses a new flexible screen with reimagined circuit array that improves transparency.
The Chinese company utilized a new micro-diamond pixel pattern together with a new algorithm to make sure light refraction is kept at a minimum. The display surface on top of the camera has a 400-pixel density for a seamless look, even small texts are readable.

All of these are protected by Gorilla Glass Victus, one of the toughest smartphone glasses in the market today.
The display itself is a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with an FHD+ resolution and a fast 120Hz refresh rate — the complete affair.

Another highlight feature is the whopping 120W wired fast charging that can do a complete charge on its 4,500mAh battery in just 15 minutes. It also boasts a 50W wireless charging that only takes 28 minutes to full charge. The aforementioned charging times are under boost mode.
Obviously, Xiaomi compromised nothing on the Mix 4. It’s powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus processor, possibly the most powerful mobile chipset in the market today.

The cameras on the back are pretty packed, too. The main one has a 108-megapixel sensor with OIS.
Below it is an 8-megapixel sensor with OIS and sitting behind a periscope-style lens that can do 5x optical and 50x digital zoom. On the right side is a 13-megapixel free-form ultra-wide lens that only has 1% edge distortion.

Other notable features include Harman/Kardon-tuned stereo speakers, ceramic back panel, and ultra-wideband (UWB) for precise location tracking of select accessories and other devices.

The Xiaomi Mix 4 has a price of CNY4,999 (around Php38,800) for the 8GB/128GB, CNY5,299 (around Php41,200) for the 8GB/256GB, CNY5,799 (around Php45,100) for the 12GB/256GB, while the top-tier 12GB/512GB is at CNY6,299 (around Php48,900). China will get first dibs on it, while the release details on markets like the Philippines are yet to be announced.
