One of the cheapest dual camera smartphones today goes on sale in the US.
ZTE Blade V8 Pro has a 5.5 inch 1080p screen made of a scratch-resistant glass, a panel that serves as both home button and fingerprint scanner. It is a relatively affordable smartphone, priced at $230, that boasts a dual-camera system, allowing bokeh-style shots for photographs. The front camera is 13-megapixel with LED flash while a 13-megapixel and 2-megapixels camera sensors are located on the phone’s rear. Th lenses allows users to do tricks with the camera’s ‘depth of field’. Aside from this wonderful option, the camera can still take photos normally without blurring the background.
ZTE also claims that the device can take 3D photos. However, it is still unclear whether it is similar to the 3D effects present in films or a 360-degree shot that allows user to combine photos from different angles.
It also features 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and a microSD card slot for memory expansion. A USB 2.0 Type-C port and Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 support is used by the phone for a faster and more efficient charging of the 3140mAh battery.
To make all of these features run smoothly, there’s a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor clocked at 2GHz.
The specs of the ZTE Blade V8 Pro is a mix between that of a premium and mid-range phone, with a price that is very reasonable. It’s now available for purchase in the US. Information about international availability is unknown as of the moment.
