OPPO had a launch event in China yesterday, and among the lineup of new devices is the OPPO Smart TV K9 Series.
The Smart TV of the K9 Series, which also includes some new earphones, wearables and a smartphone, consists of three models. Each model varies in size and features.
The smallest of the trio is a 43-inch TV with 1080p Full HD resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, and typical brightness at 230 nits. The other two models, measuring 55 and 65 inches, feature a 4K UHD resolution. The refresh rate is still 60Hz, but the typical brightness is 300 nits. These bigger models also come with a 1080p webcam as a separately sold external accessory.
All three models make use of an LCD panel with Direct LED backlight and metal frame. Powering the 43-inch and 55-inch models is a MediaTek MT9632 with Mali-G52 MC1 graphics. The 65-inch model comes with the slightly more powerful MediaTek MT9652, still with the same graphics. Internal storage starts at 8GB. RAM for all three models is 2GB.
The OPPO Smart TV K9 Series will be first available in China on May 11. From the smallest to the largest models, the prices are ¥1,999, ¥2,799, and ¥3,999 (approx. ₱14,840, ₱20,780, and ₱29,690).
