TCL Philippines is showcasing its new 115-inch QD-Mini LED TV in the country, hinting at its imminent launch.

The official price is yet to be known, but the company has been showcasing the features of its new 115-inch TCL X955 TV to get people excited. For starters, it has a large 115-inch size, perfect for homes with a dedicated theater room or those who want the size of a projector but with better colors. It also has a 4K UHD resolution at 3840 x 2160 pixels.

It also uses a QD-mini LED panel, which the company claims “combines the merits of QLED and OLED technologies.” It basically has the impressive colors and contrast of the OLED panel but with a higher peak brightness and longer lifespan.

The large TV also has more than 20000 local dimming zones with 6500-level precise lighting control, 5000 nits of peak brightness under HDR, and TCL’s Quantum Dot Pro technology with 98% DCI-P3 color gamut, 25% better brightness, and a color accuracy of ΔE<0.99.

Images are processed by TCL’s AiPQ Pro chip which uses AI to improve color, contrast, clarity and regulates HDR, image motion, and scene.

The new X955 also has Dolby Vision IQ, IMAX Enhanced, HDR10+ support, HLG, and has TUV Rheinland certification for having low blue light and being flicker-free.

It also has beefy built-in speakers thanks to the ONKYO 6.2.2 Hi-Fi system that consists of 12 speakers with a total of 240W of power. The TV is also certified by Dolby Atmos, and DTS Virtual X, and certified by the Golden Ears Expert Team.

Gamers would also appreciate its AMD FreeSync technology with 144Hz VRR + 240Hz DLG. It then runs on Google TV which lets you access apps like Netflix, Disney+, and more.

It also works with Apple HomeKit, AirPlay 2, and Multi View 2.0. Connectivity features include WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, 2x HDMI 2.1, 2x HDMI 2.0, HDMI CEC, eARC and ARC, VRR, and ALLM. We shall have the official price of the 115-inch TCL X955 in the Philippines soon, so stay tuned for that.
