The first OLED TV under the Xiaomi Mi TV Master series has been launched by the Chinese tech giant to its home market. The 65-inch 4K TV with a refresh rate of 120Hz shows its strides in the segment of consumer electronics.
This Xiaomi Smart TV is designed to compete with brands such as Samsung, Sony, Huawei, LG and OnePlus amongst others. The primary aim is to conquer the premium end of the market, after it has disrupted the entry-level price segment.
The 65-inch panel OLED Mi TV Master is exquisitely designed and looks more premium compared to other models that came before it. Powering the Mi smart TV is a MediaTek chipset MTK9650 SoC with Mali-G52 MC1 GPU. It also comes with 3GB RAM and internal storage of 32GB.
Xiaomi‘s latest Smart TV has a 4K 10-bit 65-inch OLED display with lots of colors. The refresh rate of the panel is 120Hz and supports MEMC, with the DCI-P3 color gamut up to 98.5%. The brightness peaks at 1,000 nits and the contrast ratio is 1000000:1. Meanwhile, the screen-to-body ratio is 98.8%, with response 1ms time, Dolby Vision and HDR10+.
Despite the Xiaomi Mi TV Master series having an extremely thin design for a 65-inch model, its audio system is also remarkable. It has a 65W built-in speaker which includes 2 x 12.5W left and right channels, surround channels of 2 x 10W and ultra-low frequency subwoofer of 20W 50Hz. There is a 4-mic array for XiaoAI voice assistant. It also has dual-band WiFi 5 supports and Bluetooth version 5.0. Ports also available on the TV are, two USB ports, three HDMI ports, optical, S/PDIF and antenna.
The 65-inch Xiaomi Mi TV Master has a price tag of CNY 12,999 (~Php91,100).
