The Facebook Messenger, the instant messaging offspring app of the most popular social network, can now be downloaded at the Windows Phone app store.

Many of the Facebook Messenger functionalities are available on its Windows Phone version: group conversations, private messaging, photo sharing, and stickers. But there are some missing ones, too. These include voice messaging, chat heads, and private photo sharing.

That many apps settling first on the more popular iOS and Androd and taking some time before appearing on Windows Phone has always been a problem for Microsoft. Hopefully, more developers will port their apps to WP sooner so its users don’t have to wait for too long.
