The Plants versus Zombies franchise will finally have a sequel after 4 long years. Popcap announced the popular game’s follow up through a funny teaser video which didn’t revealed anything on the gameplay or look of the game.
Plants vs. Zombies 2: It’s About Time will be coming this July but Popcap didn’t gave information on which platform will it come first, or will it be arriving simultaneously. But since the original Plants versus Zombies was widely available across several platforms, we’re expecting this to be the same. The game debuted way back in 2009 and it was made available for PC and OS X. Ever since its rise in popularity, it has been ported to Android, iOS, Windows Phone, Blackberry, Xbox 360, and Playstation 3 among others.
The game will definitely be a hit once it’s out and we’re very excited on how Popcap and EA will put a twist on one of the most downloaded game of all time.
