Back in September, Sony announced that they’ll be releasing the PlayStation Classic, a compact recreation of the original PlayStation console. Along with the gaming console itself, 20 pre-loaded games are also included.

Now, Sony has announced the full lineup of games included. Compared to their original announcement, Sony were only able to highlight five fan-favorite games in Final Fantasy VII, Jumping Flash, Ridge Racer Type 4, Tekken 3, and Wild Arms.

Sony PlayStation Classic pre-loaded games

  • Battle Arena Toshinden
  • Cool Boarders 2
  • Destruction Derby
  • Final Fantasy VII
  • Grand Theft Auto
  • Intelligent Qube
  • Jumping Flash!
  • Metal Gear Solid
  • Mr. Driller
  • Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee
  • Rayman
  • Resident Evil Director’s Cut
  • Revelations: Persona
  • Ridge Racer Type 4
  • Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo
  • Syphon Filter
  • Tekken 3
  • Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six
  • Twisted Metal
  • Wild Arms

The PlayStation Classic comes with 2 Classic PlayStation Controllers, an HDMI Cable and a USB Cable. Unfortunately, there is no USB AC Adaptor included. The new PlayStation Classic is also said to be 45% smaller compared to the original PlayStation 1 console.

The console is expected to be released worldwide on December 3, 2018 with an approximate price tag of Php6,190. So if you’re looking for a perfect Christmas gift for a loved one, this might be a good option to have.

Personally, I’m glad that Syphon Filter and Twisted Metal were announced to be a part of it. I’m not 100% happy though, since Sony forgot about other classics like Tomb Raider and Silent Hill. But as they say, you really can’t have it all.

What games do you think should’ve been included in the pre-loaded list? Let us know down in the comments section.
