Who would’ve thought that six-second clips would actually catch on? Twitter, apparently. Since its inception and eventual acquisition by Twitter, it’s become one of the most successful video-sharing apps.
For those who are unfamiliar, Vine allows users to create a short video clip up to six seconds long while recording through its in-app camera and make it run in a loop, sort of like a high-res animated GIF.
With the ability to share these videos on Twitter and/or Facebook, it’s been used anywhere from advertising, stop-motion and time lapse videos, to more serious stuff like journalism, and (ahem) pron (we are definitely NOT endorsing this aspect, but consider this as a warning for the under-aged). And now, Windows Phone 8 users can jump in the bandwagon, too!
Hit up the source link below for more info and a mini tutorial on how to use the app.
