In a bid to compete with brands like JBL and Sony, LG Philippines has brought its latest portable speakers to the country. Check out the LG XBOOK Go series.

The fanciest of the three, the LG XBOOM Go XG7QBK, is discounted to Php6,990 from its supposed SRP of Php9,490. It comes with a dome tweeter and a track woofer that outputs 30W of sound.

It also has a bass enhancement algorithm that will let you “feel that bass even at low volume.” There’s also a dedicated Sound Boost button that widens the sound field, and RGB lights on the side with three modes you can control from the XBOOM app (Ambient, Party, Nature)

It is also IP67 dust and water-resistant, has a speakerphone function, and has a battery that lasts for up to 24 hours.

If you want something cheaper, the LG XBOOM Go XG5QBK is available for only Php5,490 (from Php7,490). This one has single track woofer that offers 20W of sound output, an 18-hour battery life, and all the features of the XG7QBK.

For those who want something more compact, rugged, and cheaper here’s the LG XBOOM Go XG2T Mini, which seems to rival the JBL Clip and Go series. It has a military-grade toughness, a built-in string that lets you mount it anywhere, 5W of sound, and a 10-hour battery life.

The new LG XBOOM Go speakers are now available for pre-order on the company’s website until September 14 with a free coffee table.
