OnePlus’s latest active noise canceling (ANC) in-ear earphones, the Buds Z2, has made their way to the Philippines.
The OnePlus Buds Z2 comes with three built-in microphones to enable its ANC feature that can reduce up to 40dB of ambient noise. Alternatively, it also comes with Transparency Mode so you can stay aware of your surroundings. One of the microphones is a beamforming one to capture your voice clearly during calls.
It then has 11mm dynamic drivers that are said can offer razor-sharp treble. Dolby Atmos technology is also onboard for spatial audio, which comes with three sound modes: immersive music, mobile gaming, and cinematic movie. There’s also a gaming mode for low-latency transmission of 94ms.
The device is available in two colors, Obsidian Black and Pearl White, and has an IP55-rated body and IPX4-rated charging case to keep it safe from workout sweats and light water splashes.
It can last for up to 38 hours, with each bud carrying up to 5 hours of music. A quick 10-minute charge can already give 5 hours of music listening.
The Buds Z2 then comes with touch controls. You can tap once to play/pause music, double and triple tap to go to the next or previous music, respectively, while a tap and hold switches between ANC modes. You can also single tap to answer or end calls and double-tap to reject.
It pairs with the device using Bluetooth 5.2 with a 10-meter range. It then comes with a USB Type-C port, but no wireless charging support.
The OnePlus Buds Z2 has an SRP of Php3,790 with a special introductory price of Php3,390 here in the Philippines. You can get it at Digital Walker stores online and offline, as well as in OnePlus Philippines’s Lazada and Shopee stores.
