An emerging electric vehicle (EV) brand from Vietnam, VinFast, continues its expansion by entering the Philippine market.
After making it to the United States, VinFast introduced itself to Filipinos via a brand launch event at the SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City, where the company also signed cooperation contracts with four well-known dealers in the Philippines.

Prices for the vehicles are yet to be announced as the company confirms that they are still conducting studies to know how they will position themselves in the local market. Although, it is said that the first batch of vehicles is ready for customers this third quarter.

Moreover, VinFast is also looking at bringing electric bicycles and electric motorcycles into the country.
