After the success of the SU7 sedan, Xiaomi has now introduced its first SUV, the Xiaomi YU7
The Xiaomi YU7 is the company’s obvious take on the Tesla Model Y. This one is slightly larger, though, as it is 4,999mm long, 1,608mm tall, and 1,996mm wide, with a whopping 3,000mm wheelbase. It has sleek metallic colorways: Emerald Green, Titanium Silver, and Lava Orange.

You can pick between 19-inch and 20-inch wheels. It can weigh up to 2,460kg, depending on the configuration.
Apart from the lighting layout akin to the SU7, it also has unique design touches like inward-folding electric door handles with ambient lighting.

Keyless unlock and trunk access via smartphone is also available thanks to Ultra-Wideband (UWB) technology.

This luxurious five-seater has a leather-filled cabin with zero gravity front seats that recline to 123 degrees and have 10-point massage functions.
Rear passengers can also enjoy the electrically-adjustable seats with 135-degree tilt and their own 6.68-inch touchscreen for entertainment, navigation, and climate control.

The dashboard boasts a gigantic 1.1-meter-wide HyperVision display consisting of three Mini LED screens. Paired with the fancy Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, it shows your driving information, media playback, customizable widgets, and blind-spot monitoring.
As for what’s under the hood, the YU7 comes in three variants. The base model has a Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) with a single electric motor producing 235kW of power and 528Nm of torque. It has a top speed of 240kmph and achieves 0-100kmph in just 5.9 seconds.

Next is the YU7 Pro All-Wheel Drive (AWD), which has dual motors with a combined output of 365kW and 690Nm of torque. It has the same top speed of 240kmph with a 0-100kmph feat of 4.27 seconds.
Finally, the top-of-the-line YU7 Max AWD has a dual-motor configuration that has 508kW of power and 866Nm of torque. This one can achieve 0-100kmph in just 3.2 seconds and has a top speed of 253kmph.

As for the battery, all models use an 800V high-voltage platform with fast charging speeds of 5.2C. A quick 15-minute charge can already provide up to a 620km range.
The RWD base model uses a 96.3kWh LFP battery with a CLTC range of 835km, the Pro AWD has a 96.3kWh LFP pack with a 770km range, while the Max AWD has a 101.7kWh NCM battery has a CLTC range of 760km.

It then uses an NVIDIA Drive AGX Thor chip with 700 TOPS computer power for the safety and safe driving features.
The air suspensions provide a smoother ride. Plus, it has a 2200MPa ultra-high-strength steel integrated roll case, a 20-in-1 aluminum die-cast front frame, and a steel-aluminum hybrid body that improves its structural integrity.

Pricing and availability for the Xiaomi YU7 will be revealed soon before it hits the market in July.
