The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) released their research that shows which countries in the world provide the best and the worst work-life balance.

You might not think about it, but the worst place to work was actually Mexico. Preceding it are Columbia and Costa Rica. It seems like work-life balance in companies located in South America shares the same trend.

On the other hand, the best countries to work in because of their work-life balance are commonly found in Europe. Italy, for instance, tops the list because of its utmost respect for the leisure time of the workers.

Next in the list for being the best countries to work in are the Scandinavian nations: Denmark, Norway and Sweden respectively. Other countries which are also considered to be best to work in are also found in Europe: Spain, Netherlands, France, Sweden and Germany.
