Forbes Magazine just released its top 700 World’s Best Employers for 2023, and eight Filipino companies managed to take a spot.

The rankings were determined with the help of Statista, a market research firm, with a survey from over 170,000 employees in more than 50 countries around the world who are employed in multinational companies and institutions.

Eight companies based in the Philippines managed to make the list. First is San Miguel Corporation (SMC) at the 43rd spot, which has businesses in Food, Alcohol, tobacco, and more.

  • 54th: Security Bank
  • 162nd: Metropolitan Bank and Trust Company (Metrobank)
  • 186th: Ayala Corporation
  • 283rd: Alliance Global
  • 304th: Landbank
  • 361st: LT Group
  • 420th SM Investments Corporation

The top four spots are from the IT, electronics, and similar fields. We have South Korea’s Samsung Electronics, followed by the United States’s Microsoft, Alphabet, and Apple. Italy’s Ferrari is on number five. See Forbes’ Top 10 employees list below:
