It wouldn’t take an expert to decide which between these two devices is the real winner. Just by looking at the numbers, you can easily tell that the Realme C1 easily dominated the Samsung Galaxy J4+ in this comparison.
As you can see, the C1 offers a relatively larger screen. Its display notch, ultra-thin bezels, and 19:9 aspect ratio makes it more trendy and premium than what it actually costs. Meanwhile, the latter settles for an 18:9 screen with thick top and chin bezels.

Realme’s offering also brags a more powerful Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor, while the Galaxy J4+ only has a Snapdragon 425 chipset. However, they do share the same 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage configuration. You can check out more details about the C1’s performance in our gaming review.
Besides the larger screen and more powerful processor, where the Realme shines the brightest is with its 4,230mAh battery. That’s a rare find on devices at this price category, and it clearly obliterates the 3,300mAh capacity of the competition.
In addition, the two might have an identical pair of cameras on paper. But still, Realme was able to one-up Samsung by including a secondary 2-megapixel camera on the C1.
Not to mention that the Realme C1 offers a much premium glass-like back panel, while the Samsung Galaxy J4+ only has the usual build quality that we see on Samsung’s budget-friendly devices.
Probably the most interesting part in this comparison is their price difference. Despite being miles ahead of the competition, the Realme C1 only retails for a price of Php5,990. That’s Php1,000 cheaper than the Samsung Galaxy J4+’s Php6,990 price tag.
And as if that’s not cheap enough, you can also get the Realme C1 for only Php5,490 at the Lazada 12.12 Grand Year-end sale. We also expect Realme to offer this special price on their upcoming promos.
But the thing is, this device is only currently available through Lazada, which is only one of its minor disadvantages over the Samsung Galaxy J4+ that has wider availability as you can get it in tons of Samsung stores, kiosks, and third-party resellers nationwide.
When you look at the configuration part, Real C1 is way ahead of Samsung J4. Real C1 boast of better battery and cheaper price. However, Samsung is a brand which has generally produced some amazing phones.
