Are you in the market for a value-oriented flagship phone? Here’s a comparison of two of the best options.
First, we have the Motorola Edge 30 Pro. Like a lot of its cousins, this one has a set of features that are more than enough to justify its price tag.
We’d be comparing Motorola’s latest with the Realme GT 2 Pro. With its identical specs sheet and price tag, Realme’s top dog also wants to lure in customers who want the most smartphone they can get for the price.

So the question is, which between these two devices is actually better? We find out in our Realme GT 2 Pro versus Motorola Edge 30 Pro specifications and features comparison.

Design and Build Quality
Since design preferences are subjective, we’ll let you decide which of the two devices looks better. Personally, we prefer the GT 2 Pro, especially in its special edition Paper White color.

The Realme device also gets a one-up by having a tougher Gorilla Glass Victus. But to Moto’s credit, the Edge 30 Pro does come with an IP53 rating for minor water protection.
Display and Audio
While they have similar sizes, the screen on the Realme GT 2 Pro is noticeably better than the Edge 30 Pro. For one, it boasts an AMOLED LTPO 2.0 technology, one of the buzzwords in modern flagships.

What’s more, it has a sharper WQHD+ pixel resolution and an adaptive refresh rate that can go from 1Hz to 120Hz. On the other hand, the Edge 30 Pro does come with a faster screen.
The audio department is identical, at least on paper. Both have stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos technology, and like most high-end phones — neither have headphone jacks.
Performance
Being some of the best smartphone offerings from their respective brands, it’s no surprise that both the Edge 30 Pro and GT 2 Pro are powered by the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processors, which is easily one of the most powerful mobile chipsets in the market today.

And since they share the same 12GB of memory, 256GB of fast UFS 3.1 storage, and Adreno 730 GPU, it will depend on the built-in cooling and software optimization to see which one between the two actually performs better.
Cameras
Both devices sport two 50-megapixel cameras. One with OIS and one for the ultra-wide camera.

Although the GT 2 Pro has a fancy microscope lens, for this round, we will hand the win to the Moto device considering its ultra-sharp 60-megapixel selfie snapper — a camera that actually has a practical use.
Battery
For the battery capacity, we gotta hand the win to the Realme GT 2 Pro just because it’s bigger.

But ultimately, the Edge 30 Pro may have taken home the cake on this one. Although smaller, the 200mAh difference is pretty much negligible. What really won us over is wireless and reverse wireless charging support, which the Realme device lacks.
Conclusion
As you just saw, it’s a very close fight between the two as they share the same processor, similar cameras, batteries, and even prices.

Let’s just put it this way: if you want a fancy-feeling flagship with a much better display and a cool in-display fingerprint scanner, then go with the Realme GT 2 Pro.
But if you don’t mind sacrificing those features in lieu of wireless charging and a ridiculously sharp selfie camera, then go with the Motorola Edge 30 Pro.
