On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy A51 was recently announced last December 2019. The A51 features a quad-camera set up with a unique L-shaped design at the back, which is very common nowadays.

Update (6/24/20, 11:21PM): Samsung Galaxy A51 price in
From the table above, you can clearly see that the Samsung Galaxy A51 is the better phone compared to the A50s.
Let’s begin with their screens. The Samsung Galaxy A51 has a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED screen while the A50s has a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display only. Both phones though are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 at the front.
As for the performance, the Samsung Galaxy A51 is equal with the Samsung Galaxy A50s as they have theExynos 9611 SoC and Mali G72 GPU.
For memory, both the Samsung Galaxy A50s and A51 come with two RAM variants to choose from in 4GB and 6GB. They also have two options in 64GB and 128GB for the internal storage.
If you feel like 64GB and 128GB of internal storage isn’t enough, you can always expand your storage up to a whopping 512GB through the use of a microSD card.
Probably the biggest difference between the two phones are their cameras. The Samsung Galaxy A51 features a quad-camera set up that consists of a 48-megapixel primary shooter, 12-megapixel (ultrawide), 5-megapixel depth-sensing and 5-megapixel macro cameras.

On the other hand the Samsung Galaxy A50s only features a triple rear camera set up which consists of a 48-megapixel main sensor, 5-megapixel (depth sensor) and 8-megapixel (ultrawide) cameras.
At the front, the A51 and A50 features an identical 32-megapixel selfie camera.
Both the Samsung Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A50s are equipped with a 4,000mAh battery and 15W fast charging technology.
Aside from the features above, they also come with an under display fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm headphone jack, USB Type-C, and face unlock feature.
Finally, let’s talk about the price. Since we have no confirmed prices of the A51 here in the Philippines yet, we can only compare using the Euro price. The Samsung Galaxy A51 is priced at EUR 370 (~Php 21,00) while the Samsung Galaxy A50 is priced at Php17,990 here in the Philippines. We’re hoping that the A51 will have a similar price tag when it arrives in the country.
As expected, the Samsung Galaxy A51 is the clear winner here thanks to its larger display, newer processor and superior camera setup compared to its predecessor.
I think you are referring to A50 rather than A50s.
A50s has the same Exynos 9611, it is the A50 that has the 9610.
Hi Bryan, that’s correct. We’re sorry for the confusion. I updated the article to clarify that both phones use the same processor and GPU. Thank you :)
