TECNO has introduced a couple of major upgrades to the POVA 6 Pro. For starters, it now has a much better AMOLED display, which is more colorful and contrasty to the IPS panel of the 5 Pro. It also has a more sensitive touch sampling, and 2160Hz PWM dimming to keep your eyes safe.

The company has also improved the cameras. The selfie snapper now has twice the megapixels and even has a dual-tone flash. The rear sensor is also 2x sharper and is now joined by a 2-megapixel sensor.
TECNO also made a big deal of its Dolby Atmos support, which its predecessor lacks. It is also one of the first TECNO phones to ship with the latest Android 14-based HiOS 14.

Possibly its biggest new feature is the 6,000mAh battery, which should easily last you for two days. To complement that, TECNO has also increased the charging speed to 70W.
Performance should be relatively the similar since it has the same MediaTek DImensity 6080 processor. However, expect a major improvement in multitasking thanks to the upgraded 12GB of RAM.

The bottom line is, if you already own the POVA 5 Pro, there’s no major reason to upgrade yet unless you’d like to get the latest features.
But if you’re using an older device and want something that lasts longer on a single charge, has an eye-catching design, OLED screen, and more — all for an affordable price — then you can’t go wrong with the TECNO POVA 6 Pro.
