AMD’s latest budget-friendly GPU, the Radeon RX 6500 XT, has made its way to the Philippines.
The AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT feature’s the brand’s AMD RDNA 2 architecture with 16 compute units and ray accelerators, 232GBps bandwidth with AMD Infinity cache, 4GB GDDR6 memory, and up to 2610Mhz boost clocks when gaming.
As per the company, under 1080p at high settings, it can provide up to 108fps while running Resident Evil Village, up to 104fps on Fortnite, up to 78fps for Halo Infinite, up to 61fps Call of Duty: Vanguard, and up to 91fps on Apex Legends at max settings.

For the specs heads out there, the GPU comes with 11.53 TFLOPs, 107W typical power requirement, 18Gbps memory speed, 64-bit memory interface, 2 slots size, while the ports selection includes DisplayPort 1.4a, HDMI 2.1 VRR and FRL, but without USB Type-C. It also comes with a 6-pin port for additional power.
It also features AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution that upscales select games for better performance. DirectX 12 Ultimate is also included that supports Windows 11 AutoHDR for better colors and depth.
The AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT has a starting price of Php13,500 in the Philippines and will be available this month from ASUS, Gigabyte, MSI, SAPPHIRE, and brands.
