Israeli computer manufacturing company Compulab has launched a new fanless portable PC specifically manufactured for enterprise and industrial usage. The portable mini-PC is dubbed IPC3 and it succeeds the company’s earlier released IPC2.

Specs wise, the Compulab IPC3 crams under its hood 32GB of DDRL-1600 RAM which makes it a powerhouse. The device also comes with a 2.5-inch hard disk drive (HDD) inside and two mSATA slots for solid state storage (SSD). The is also an HDMI 1.4A port, S/pDIF 7.1 channel audio, a 3.5mm headphone jack, one M.2 2260 slot, two Gigabit Ethernet ports, four USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, a Display port 1.2, as well as WLAN 802.11ac, WiFi, and Bluetooth 4.0.

The mini-PC is powered by an Intel Core i5-7200U 15-watt dual-core processor but there is a higher version armed with an Intel core i7-7500U Kaby Lake CPU which has even better performance. There’s also support for a series of expansion modules that Compulab calls FACE  (Function and Connectivity Extension) modules that can bring features such as power-over-Ethernet, or additional ports.

Compulab is so sure of the durability of the IPC3 that it slammed a 5-year warranty on the portable PC. The Compulab IPC3 price starts at $693 for the Core i5 version while the Core i7 version would cost more.
