Along its brand new logo, Intel has released its 11th Gen of processors.

The Intel 11th Gen Tiger Lake processors will power the “thin and light” laptops that will come out later this year. These new CPUs will be rigged with integrated Xe graphics, WiFi 6 connectivity, Thunderbolt 4, and — more importantly for laptops — major improvements in battery efficiency and performance.

Intel is bringing nine 11th Gen models for the UP3 (previously called the U-series) and UP4 (previously the Y-series).

They are still built on a 10nm node, just like their predecessors, but this time, the Willow Core architectures were bumped to a new 10nm SuperFin design, which brings the aforementioned faster speeds while managing to pull lower power. You can check all the models below.

The Intel Xe graphics will bring 2x graphics power. Its performance is similar or even better than a 10th-Gen chip and NVIDIA MX250 GPU working together.

We’re seeing 8K HDR screens to go mainstream in the months to come, and the latest Intel processors can support it. It can also accommodate four 4K HDR screens at once. The built-in AI engine was also improved, great for background blurring on video calls.

You can expect machines with Intel 11th Gen processors to arrive as early as in the coming days or weeks.
