Nvidia is launching this month the GeForce RTX 40 Super series with three new graphic cards: RTX 4080 Super, RTX 4070 Ti Super, and RTX 4070 Super.

The GeForce RTX 4070 Super is slated for a January 17 launch with a starting price of $599 (approx. Php33,700). Nvidia claims this newer card can outperform the RTX 3090 while being less demanding in power consumption. The card also comes equipped with 20 percent more CUDA cores than the RTX 4070, which apparently is enough for it to excel in gaming at 1440p resolution. The company recommends the RTX 4070 Super for users who want to upgrade from the older RTX 3070 or RTX 2070. Game-ready drivers supporting the new card are available for download on the launch date.

The next card in the new series is the RTX 4070 Ti Super. This card will be available at $799 (~Php44,950), the same original starting price of its non-Super counterpart model, while offering more CUDA cores, a 4GB increase in GDDR6X memory, and a 33-percent jump in memory bandwidth. Nvidia claims the RTX 4070 Ti Super is 1.6x faster than RTX 3070 Ti and 2.5x faster with DLSS 3 enabled when playing graphics-heavy games.

And lastly, the RTX 4080 Super is set to launch on January 31 for $999 (~Php56,200), a significant drop in price from the original $1,199 launch price of the regular RTX 4080. Like the first two, this new Super card boasts significant improvements in terms of CUDA cores and memory bandwidth. It ranks just below the RTX 4090 in performance. Nvidia recommends the RTX 4080 Super for users who are into 4K ray-traced gaming and advanced generative AI applications.
