NVIDIA has released the next-generation GeForce RTX 50 Series at CES 2025 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 series consists of an RTX 5070, RTX 5070 Ti, RTX 5080, and the top-tier RTX 5090 — all models have their respective desktop and laptop versions.
For the desktop versions, NVIDIA used its new Blackwell architecture. They are also surprisingly cheaper than their predecessors. However, the GeForce RTX 5090 costs more at USD1,999 (~Php116,200) to its impressive specs that would also benefit AI researchers, not just gamers.
The series will also have NVIDIA’s dual-fan design for the Founders Edition. NVIDIA said that the RTX 5090 and 5080 are 2x faster than their predecessors, the RTX 4070 is 2x better than the RTX 4070 Ti, while the RTX 5070 is as fast as the RTX 4090.
For the rest of the prices, the RTX 5080 will retail for USD999 (~Php58,100), RTX 5070 Ti will be at USD749 (~Php43,500), while the RTX 5070 will come in at USD549 (~Php31,900).
On the other hand, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 series for laptops will also utilize the Blackwell architecture. Features are relatively the same, but as with previous series, the power have been dialed down to accommodate the portable formfactor.
NVIDIA said that laptops with the new chips will be available starting in March. Prices will start at USD2,899 (~Php168,500) for the RTX 5090-powered machines, USD2,199 (~Php127,800) for the RTX 5080, and USD1,599 (~Php92,900) and USD1,299 (~Php75,500) for the RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5070.
