Samsung went to Gamescom 2023 and unveiled what could possibly be one of the most over-the-top gaming monitors to date, the Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 57-inch.
The Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 57-inch, aka G95NC, uses an enormous 57-inch VA-type LCD panel with a whopping resolution of 7680 x 2160 pixels. It’s like having two 16:9 UHD panels side-by-side, hence the fitting 1000R curvature so you can still see each edge of the screen up close.

What’s more, it has an equally impressive 240Hz refresh rate — so make sure you’re rocking a beefy graphics card for this one. It’s so obviously demanding that you’d need a combination of a DisplayPort 2.1 and HDMI 2.1 cable to power this thing. But it does have Display Stream Compression.
It may not use a more modern OLED panel, but it does come with Samsung Quantum Matric Technology with mini-LED backlighting, VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification, and 2392 local dimming zones.

It’s been rated to have at least 1ms response time (GTG), works with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, and to make things easier to see, a matte coating to avoid reflections.
This fancy monitor also comes with a USB-C hub, a picture-in-picture mode if you want to input two sources at once, CoreSync & Core Lighting+ on the back, and a flexible ergonomic stand that has tilt, swivel, and height adjustment.

The Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 57-inch will have a price of USD2499 (~Php141,400) once it becomes available in the United States this October.
