Xiaomi has introduced a fancy new monitor for content creators. Check out the new Xiaomi 27-inch 4K monitor.
The new Xiaomi 27-inch 4K monitor has all the bells and whistles you’d expect from a professional monitor — and by “professional” we mean for creative work, not gaming, so don’t expect a high refresh rate from this thing.

From the name itself, you already know that it has a sharp 4K resolution. That’s 3840 x 2160 pixels that offer 1.07 billion colors, and an acceptable 400-nits of brightness. It uses an IPS panel instead of OLED.
On the upside, it is a Pantone-certified screen with a delta <1 calibration, 100% sRGB color gamut, 99% Adobe RGB, and 99% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage. It even has physical buttons that let you easily switch from different modes if you’re using it for CAD, CG, and others.

Other notable features include the VESA DisplayHDR 400, DC dimming, and of course, TUV Rheinland certification for low blue light emission.
The screen then comes with a robust stand that has height adjustment, tilt, and rotation. The stand also has a hole and the monitor has a magnetic cover to hide the ports.

Speaking of ports, this one has two HDMI 2.1 inputs, one DisplayPort 1.4, two USB Type-A, one USB Type-C, and a headphone jack. The said USB Type-C port is powerful enough to handle audio/video transmission, data transfer, and 90W power output, great for laptops.
The Xiaomi Store Philippines is now offering the Mi 4K monitor 27-inch model for a price of Php28,999. The international release is yet to be announced. If you want a faster display made for gaming, you can check Xiaomi’s 240Hz 24.5-inch monitor.
