The ASUS Zenfone 5Q is on the forefront of the company’s offerings in the highly-saturated midrange segment. Since it’s release, the device is faced with numerous competition, including the recently released Huawei Nova 3i.
So to remain competitive, ASUS made a bold move as they trim the price of the Zenfone 5Q. Making it more appealing to the consumers. From its original price of Php16,995, the device is now Php2,000 cheaper at Php14,995.
For that price, you’re already getting a smartphone with premium build and capable hardware. The ASUS Zenfone 5Q is constructed from a metal chassis that is sandwiched with glass on front and back.
It comes with a 6-inch FHD+ screen and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 octa-core processor. There’s a 4GB of RAM for multitasking and a roomy 64GB ROM to store all your apps and other media on.
Probably the highlight feature of this device is its quad-camera setup. There’s a 20-megapixel camera on the front and a 16-megapixel one on the back. Both are equipped with an extra 8-megapixel wide-angle camera. We detail its photography prowess in a special camera test, which you can check out here.
The ASUS Zenfone 5Q is available in ASUS stores, kiosks, and third-party resellers nationwide. You can also get it online through ASUS’ official stores in Shopee and Lazada.
OPPO and Vivo also dropped the price of the F7 and V9 to Php14,990.
