OPPO gives another discount to one of its best-selling smartphones.
Just a little over two weeks ago, the company has dropped the price of the OPPO A37 and F1 by Php1,000 and Php2,000, respectively. Now, it seems like the Chinese mobile manufacturer is not yet contented with that, as they introduce yet another price slash.
The OPPO F1 will get another Php1,000 of its current retail price, bringing it down to Php8,990. The F1 was first released in the Philippines back in February and it originally costed Php11,990. Ten months later and they’re giving a total of Php3,000 off.
As a recap, the OPPO F1 features a 5-inch 720p Gorilla Glass 4 screen and it’s built with metal all around the body. It’s fairly thin at just 7.25mm and weighs just 134 grams. Driving the OPPO F1 is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor along with an Adreno 405 GPU and 3GB of RAM. Of course, there’s also support for microSD to complement the 16GB onboard storage to have more space for your music, photos, and videos.

The F1 was the first ever smartphone born out of the camera-focused F series. It’s rightfully equipped with pretty capable snappers, 13-megapixel with an aperture of f/2.4 at the back and 8-megapixel f/2.2 sensor for selfie shots.
The drop in the price puts it in the same level as mid-rangers Zenfone 3 Max and LG X Power.
The heavily discounted OPPO F1 is available in OPPO concept stores and authorized dealers nationwide for Php8,990.
