The Oppo F1, the smartphone that claims to be the “selfie expert,” goes official in the Philippines.
In case you missed its announcement last month, the Oppo F1 is a mid-range handset with Android 5.1 Lollipop, 5-inch 720p display and an octa-core Snapdragon 616 processor. In addition, the F1 features 3GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage, 13-megapixel main camera, dual SIM and 4G LTE connectivity. It’s quite thin, measuring only 7.3 mm at its thickest part, and it’s elegantly designed with a metal frame that’s available in either gold or rose gold color.
The Oppo F1 is the first in Oppo’s F Series, a collection of smartphones with great cameras in order to highlight their photographic capabilities. That said, does the Oppo F1 exactly have the features to proclaim itself as a selfie expert? Yes, because it has an 8-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture lens, 1/4-inch sensor size, beautification modes, various filters, screen flash, and many more features. The F1 is truly a welcome addition to the smartphone arsenal of the selfie capitals of the world.
Officially launched yesterday at the TriNoma shopping mall, the Oppo F1 has an official Philippine price of Php11,990. It will also be available as one of the smartphone choices for Smart’s All-in Plan 1200. If the F1 does not satisfy your needs, the Oppo F1 Plus has also been confirmed to arrive in the country. This superior alternative will feature a 5.5-inch Full HD display, 4GB RAM and an even better photography experience.
